Praying for my C-suite warriors in these dark times, no one understands the value you create like I do.

• Two feel-good post-assassination stories: Ben Shapiro’s listeners begin to question his intentions and Elon Musk used one of his kids as a human shield.

• A chance to enjoy the sheer lunacy of a Hallmark Christmas movie without having to watch it!

• Loved this Blackbird Spyplane piece on the “Unswaggy Valley,” or what happens when something you love becomes uncool.

• If I were a Comparative Literature professor and someone offered me AI-generated materials to “help” the human Teaching Assistants (who were very recently on strike), I would hopefully have a more nuanced take on it than this lady.

• I’ve seen a lot of content about Massachusetts being some kind of liberal oasis in the authoritarian desert, but if you want to be wicked honest, we might just be the best at marketing. Bill Shaner is a real-deal, hard-boiled investigative journalist and wrote this fantastic piece about the progressive theater of Maura Healy’s admin.

Also, my 2024 Spotify Wrapped: third year in a row “Beg for You” has made the top five songs (embarassing due to the inherent fascism of nostalgia). 2024 was also for serious pre-Eras Tour research (not embarassing because this will keep me off government watch lists).
