how much can one ethnic cleansing cost, michael?
both parties finally reach across the aisle to jerk each other off
Hi!
Thanks for opening this email / reading this post.
Feeling particularly anti-American today, please don’t tell my FBI agent.
Students around the country are protesting their universities’ investments in the corporate war machine. I feel genuinely inspired - it’s really beautiful to see young people united, asking for a better future, where violence and brutality for the sake of shareholders and ethno states is unacceptable. They have concrete, actionable demands and serious chutzpah - a vast improvement on the impotent pussy-hatted protests of 2017 (much shade to myself, I was there and clapping like a slack-jawed moron for Amy Schumer’s call to action, lol, big sigh).
After witnessing the hideous indecency of students asking their school to stop forwarding their tuition money to the bomb factory, George Santos felt the call to become a human anti-semitism shield.
Steve Inskeep absolutely reading his former NPR colleague and renowned loser, Uri Berliner, to filth, after he whined, “you can’t fire me, I quit.” My favorite part below. The childish centrist to right wing grifter pipeline remains robust.
This is what they want to take from you.
Florida and Texas Republicans both doing the brave work of trying to make modern farming practices on par with chattel slavery by protecting their right to kill migrant workers.
Tunes to start the week with:
We’ll talk Taylor next week, once my review goes up on Albumism.com. Spoiler: it can be fun to like popular things.
If you have been enjoying The Tortured Poets Department and thought, “wow, I wish Taylor had a more traditional coming of age experience, confirmed bisexuality and maybe a Masters in Religious Studies,” then have I got an album for you! Maggie Rogers just released an excellent record of gentle pop rock goodness. The single, “Don’t Forget Me,” is giving me Sheryl Crow/Bonnie Raitt.
