Happy Marathon Monday! I'm very proud of my friend Mike, who is already a hero, but then has to go and make us all look even worse by raising a ton of money for Boston Medical Center. Even though the race is over, you can still donate!

My current obsession with Kacey Musgraves has led me to dig up a favorite from the past. Musgraves' "Velvet Elvis" shares a title and subject with the Alex Winston track of the same name. Winston is different though, with a lot more camp than the country singer. Her "Velvet Elvis" is a fun, weird, pop gem that I'm glad came back into my orbit.
